Palazzo Parisio
One of Naxxar’s most celebrated landmarks is Palazzo Parisio, an elegant Baroque palace often described as the “miniature Versailles of Malta.” Originally built in 1733 by Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena as a hunting lodge, it was later transformed into a lavish aristocratic residence by the Marquis Scicluna family in the 19th century. The palace is renowned for its richly decorated interiors, grand ballroom, and beautifully manicured Italian-style gardens. Today it functions as a museum, restaurant, and popular wedding venue.
