Near St Sebastian’s Parish Church, stands Pinto’s Lodge, built in 1772 to mark Grand Master Manuel Pinto de Fonseca’s 31st year in office. Tradition says he used to rest here during horse races. The four-columned roofed structure bears his coat of arms and a Latin inscription celebrating the milestone.
